Temple Square
One of my main reasons for wanting to stay at a hotel in Salt Lake was to be near Temple Square. I have such a love for this area and I want my children to enjoy the peacefulness there. Ryan, Roy and I woke up early in the morning on Sunday, the 26th of July to see the Mormon Tabernacle Choir perform with the orchestra in the Conference Center. It was so beautiful. Even though I had recently seen them in concert in Kansas City, I enjoyed this performance more than I thought I would. Ryan was teary-eyed much of the time because there is something truly amazing about hearing so many beautiful voices sing about Christ. There are not many places I have been where I can feel the Spirit as strongly as I do on Temple Square.
After the MoTab broadcast, we took the kids over to Temple Square. I had to add this picture because it's so typical of us! Trying to get everyone to sit still and pose for a picture is torture for these 4 little people!
Hmmmm, I guess we'll call it good with this fountain picture. Lindsey doesn't look so happy and Brevan purposely had his eyes closed because the sun was hurting them. Not to mention my husband's highly excited look! But hey, at least it appears that Brynlie and I are enjoying ourselves! Thanks, Bryn!
Not too bad, but I sure wish I'd actually done my hair that morning. Even some make-up would have helped me look a little less . . .old!

My favorite part of Utah. I try to include a trip to the square every time I go.
