Mountain climbing

This was one of the best parts of the trip! I couldn't wait to spend some time in the beautiful mountains, taking in that fresh mountain air! I miss the mountains so much being out in Missouri! It was strange though, that until we went to the mountains I was thinking that Utah was really ugly, because I'm used to so much green all over in Missouri! I haven't watered any of my flowers AT ALL this whole summer! There was one day when Lindsey sprinkled some water on my annuals, but besides that the perennials and annuals all look amazing on their own!

Anyway, that was quite off the topic. Here are some pictures from the night we got KFC with my parent's and headed up the a fun picnic area in the mountains. Ahhhh, I can almost smell the pine trees right now!

I'm glad the kids had such a great time exploring, but I was kind of a mess while they were hiking on these big rocks. At one point I thought Logan was about to fall and I started screaming for my Dad to run grab him. Logan just looked over at me and smiled, while people from the other campsites came over to see if everything was OK. It was quite embarrassing!
