We spent the majority of our time in Oregon relaxing, eating and enjoying the ocean views. Ryan says I was actually a bit anti-social at times because I did so much reading! I finished 4 books, which seems like a successful vacation in my opinion, but I'm afraid Ryan may burn my library card if I take that many books on our next trip!
Logan still loves to do "ready, get set, go" whenever we tell him to start walking.
This is one of the newer homes in the neighborhood. Ryan and I have a dream of owning a beach house in this area one day. It's just sad that we live so far away! Who knows, maybe we will end up back out west someday . . .
The kids have fun in the pool, on the tennis court, playing ping pong and beating each other at board games. Erin and Bonnie spent much of their time playing board games with Brevan, which made him a super happy guy. I took pictures of them involved in the games, but I can't find them on my memory card now. That's pretty amazing, since I came home with 459 pictures, even though I seem to have lost quite a few somehow!
This is "our" beach house, tucked back in the woods and only a one minute walk from the ocean. Ryan and I felt nostalgic the whole week we stayed here, because we have so many fond memories of our vacations here over the years.
We stayed up late. We slept in late. We took naps whenever the opportunity arose. It was a perfect vacation at the ocean!
