Notalotta time to blog

Up early, getting to bed late.  Lot's of interesting events have taken place, but I haven't been good at documenting them this week.
  • I had an impromptu birthday lunch at my house for Brenda.
  • Ryan and I went on a date to dinner and golfing with Christine and Josh.
  • I pulled off a very fun and successful "Spa Night" with the Young Women.
  • All the kid's cute Halloween costumes are purchased.
  • We have a mouse in our storage room that will not be tricked into a trap.
  • Ryan's sister Keri and her husband Brett are coming to town on Thursday and staying for 5 days.
  • $6000 later the boat is finally fixed from when Ryan took the Deacons to the lake and ran over a concrete block that was in the water.
  • I'm addicted to the show Design Star on HGTV (thank you, Tiff, for introducing me!).
  • The kids all received priesthood blessings from Ryan this past Sunday.
  • I've done an overhaul on the house and have been an organizing freak.
  • I spent yesterday at The Legends Outlet Mall/Nebraska Furniture Mart with a few friends who helped me pick out new furniture for Brevan's room.
  • I decided to pull Logan out of preschool this year and do a playgroup/preschool from home with 3 of his best buddies.  I won't have as much free time, but he will be happier and we will save a ton of money.
  • I bought new bedding and decorations for Lindsey's bedroom.
  • I've had some incredibly spiritual experiences lately.
  • The kids are all doing fabulously in school.
  • Brevan is loving the Aspergers Tween group he attends a couple times a month.
  • Our evening schedules are getting remarkably busy again.
  • We're considering getting a dog sometime in the next year.
  • And last but definitely not least because it's taking up the majority of my time lately . . .I'm planning a little (OK, not little - more like really big) surprise (shhh) party for my Honey's 40th birthday.  It's going to have a 1980's theme, and is going to be a blast.

Oh, and this article in Consumer Reports . . .

Liberty, MO one of the best small towns in USA

I love my town!

Try using dog food on glue traps for the mouse!
