After a close call where we barely made it to the airport on time, we were able to relax on the plane ride home! We had a very short layover in Salt Lake, and got to Missouri about midnight. Ryan picked us up from the airport and we didn't get to bed until almost 2 am, which really didn't seem all that late considering we'd been on west coast time for the past couple weeks. I had to wake the kids up at 11:00 the next day!
What a little dork! He was pretending that the seatbelt was choking him and making people nervous!
An angel was sent to me on the second plane ride, because the kindest lady sat next to Lindsey and played with her the whole time. By the time we landed, Lindsey had fallen in love with the lady and wanted to adopt her as a Missouri grandma.
The day after getting home from vacation was spent moping around that our vacation was over. How depressing to come home on "Back to School" night. Can't summer last forever?
