On Wednesday morning, Roy, Ryan, Kelsi and Brevan woke up very early to go deep-sea fishing on the ocean. No one got sick sick, and they all thoroughly enjoyed the experience! They returned to the beach house with 15 large fish and about 20 crabs. Needless to say, we spent much of the week eating seafood! Bonnie fried up the fish with a batter, and we ate some of the most delicious food we'd ever consumed. Below is a photo from the area where the fish get filleted and ready to eat. Yuck.
After the smelly group of fishers returned from their adventure, we decided to take a walk around an area in the gated "Little Whale Cove" neighborhood where there are boardwalks all through the most beautiful, serene woods. We call this area the Enchanted Forest, because we feel like we are in a fairybook when we walk on the boardwalks! I wish I had words to describe the intense beauty of this place. The sights, smells and sounds are so incredible.
These two boys were seriously SO STINKING CUTE, I couldn't stop taking pictures. I've had to limit the amount I put on here or I would have to open a new blog completely devoted to the two of them!
Ryan and his Daddy-o.
The woods open up into the area known as Little Whale Cove, where the kids had fun collecting shells and building rivers out of the ocean water.
