One of the best parts of my mini-vacation was spending a day walking around Temple Square. I took these pictures as I marveled at the beauty of the Salt Lake City Temple. The Spirit was so strong, I couldn't hold back my tears of gratitude.
This statue reminds me of the joy I feel about having my son be ordained to the Priesthood in a couple weeks. I took the picture at this angle to show that I will try to point my children in the direction of the temple, where they can find peace.
Another visual of the happiness I feel as a Mother, and the pure joy I have that my family is sealed to me forever.
I don't know this couple, but I sneaked a shot of their glowing faces. How exciting that they kept themselves pure enough to enter the House of the Lord on their wedding day. I also thought that as fun as a wedding looks, I cringe when I think of starting over in a marriage. I will take the years of experience with Ryan and the trials we've overcome together any day.
