I've been looking through my old photos, and noticed some that never got uploaded. I thought each of these deserved a turn on the blog! First of all, a picture of our neighborhood that was taken last summer. There's a beautiful lake right in the middle of the houses, and the area gets so green. I'm very excited that the color green is returning to our world, now that it's officially Spring!
This is the cake I bought Ryan for his birthday last year. My funny man would much rather have a store-bought white cake with white frosting than anything else. At least it makes it easy for me!
Last September, Ryan was in front of me in the McDonald's drive-through one evening, because we were grabbing dinner quickly in between running kids to separate events. He suddenly threw an old banana peel at the windshield of my van. Little did he know, I had a rather rotten banana (which a child had brought into the van a few days earlier) and immediately threw it at his truck. It landed in the bed of the truck, and Ryan told the kids to climb out the back window and retrieve the banana for him. He then flung it at my windshield while driving off. Brevan was in the van with me, and we literally could not stop laughing. We had to stop by the car wash before heading home to get rid of the evidence of our banana war!
And finally, OUCH. I just about cried when I saw the total price to fill up our truck this week.
