Alcoholism runs in my family. It's a terrible thing, and an addiction that can, and has, ruined many lives.
Reason #1 - Reece Infanger Obituary
My biological Maternal Grandfather. Alcohol changed him. His family was left with horrible memories and no money after the divorce. He never knew me. I met him one time at a family reunion, and it made me sad to think of all he had lost out on by not being a part of our lives.
Reason #2 - Krista Robinson Obituary
My Mom's little sister; daughter of Reece Infanger. She passed away on the 17th, after spending the past many years in-and-out of court for DUI charges. Thankfully, her drinking never took the life of another innocent driver. She was laid to rest last Thursday, after 5 days of binge-drinking. I wish I could have attended the funeral. My heart just breaks for my Grandma, because no Mother should ever have to bury her child.
And my heart breaks for my Mom and her family that have been deeply affected by alcoholism.
