I'm really slacking on this blog thing lately. I actually have so much to get caught up on, but I can't seem to find the time. I'll get on and post pictures soon, but I don't have time tonight. I'm really needing to go crash on my bed and eat a ton of chocolate. Ryan took a client out to dinner tonight and won't be home until really late. For some reason I feel like if he's getting delicious food for dinner, the least I can have is a couple candybars, right?! It's a good thing I'm heading over to my friend, Kim's house in the morning to workout. She has a personal trainer who will work with me on lifting. Don't laugh too hard at what I just said. Yes, for the first time ever I am going to try to get into weightlifting and not just cardio.
This may sound completely random, but it's definitely worth posting about. I got a Dyson vacuum a couple weeks ago and it has changed my life! I actually look forward to seeing crumbs in my carpet so I can get out my powerful new toy and suck up the filth. Ryan and I have been vacuum-cursed since we got married (we are now on our 5th vacuum in 12 years) so I decided I wanted a really nice one with an amazing warranty. Let's hope this Dyson keeps doing it's job. I sware I've never loved a "toy" so much.
Brevan won 2nd place in the Pinewood Derby a couple days ago. Pictures are forthcoming . . .
Being the Primary President is kind of like a job without any income (all you former presidents can laugh now)! It's been fun, but time-consuming and my thoughts never seem to stay away from "I wonder if she would be good to teach that class" for very long. The rest of the presidency is so awesome though, and they are the only reason I'm sane right now. And I have to add in Brenda, one of my very best friends, who also happens to be the president that was just released. I call and ask her questions daily.
I'm almost to the end of Alma in my Book of Mormon reading. I'm so proud of myself! And I know this won't come as a shock to most of you, but the Book of Mormon is REALLY good! I've never done a quick reading like this and I've gotten more into it this time. I can't wait to finish it (oh, and to be rewarded with a nice cruise with my sisters :)).
Let's see . . .other happenings . . .Logan is now officially 18 months old. I will have to do a whole post soon just on him. He is the cutest little thing I've ever seen, if I do say so myself. He can be quite a busy monster, but I somehow find it endearing.
I've been so thankful for good friends lately. With the exception of my childhood friends that I hung out with for years, I have not had friendships as close as I do now.
I guess that's it for tonight. There are some giggly kids upstairs that need to be tucked in.

It's living outside of Utah that gives you those close friends. I have felt the same way both in NC and MN. I just love my friends and am so sad we have to move again. I'm glad you have found friends like that in Missouri.
