Today Brynlie received the Core Virtue Award in an assembly at her school. Mrs. Brock, the principal, read this statement that Brynlie's teacher had written about her:"When you hear the word "responsible" you think of Brynlie. She is always on task and always gives her very best. She is one of those students you love having in your classroom. She never has to be reminded to do her morning routine or finish her work. She is always where she is supposed to be, doing what she is supposed to be doing. She makes my job very easy. Brynlie is a great example to her classmates. She treats everyone fairly and is kind to everyone. She never has to be first and is always willing to take turns. She is willing to be a partner to anyone in the room and always makes them feel like she is glad to be their partner. I love Brynlie's quiet sense of humor. She is kind, compassionate, and a great friend to her classmates. She brightens my day when she walks into our room and gives me that beautiful smile. I feel blessed to have the privilege of being Brynlie Ellefsen's teacher!"
As her mom, I just have to say "ditto!"

That is every parents dream! I was always a little "goody goody" which I never really felt bad about, and later was even proud of it, but it is nice for them to be recognized in such a positive way! Yay Brynlie! That is so wonderful. Congratulations!
