Well, tomorrow I'll be put in as the new Primary President. I'm nervous, overwhelmed, excited for a change, not excited for the work involved, scared to mess up, laughing that it's me instead of someone more qualified, and many other emotions. I will have 2 awesome counselors that I love and admire, and a secretary that I'm excited to get to know better and will do a fabulous job.
I'm not so fond of changes. Of any kind. But I feel like I've been prepared for this in many ways, and I guess I'll just take the plunge and do my best. I've ended up loving every calling I've ever had, so I'm sure I'll work up to feeling more confident in this one.
Wish my luck. I'm pretty sure there's going to be a loud roar of laughter when my name is announced tomorrow.

Ali, you will be great. I loved being in the primary presidency. Although I was only a counselor. Good luck with it.
Congrats! You'll do a great job! There's no better place to be.
Wow Ali! That's great! You'll love it and be great at it! Did you hear that Florine died? Just thought I'd let you know if you didn't hear. And have you hear about the Christiansen's baby?
you will love it! That was one of my favorite callings, its lots of work but the kids always love you no matter what! I think you will do awesome. I just got called as our stake YW secretary and i have never been a secretary or ever had a stake calling so It is all new to me and i dont know what the heck i am doing! but i will figure it out!
You'll be amazing. I've been Primary Pres. for almost three years and I can't believe how fast it's gone by! I was soo stressed at first, but then I realized that the kids didn't care if it was perfect- they just wanted to come to Primary where they knew they were loved. It's so great, you'll love it!
Go you! Congratulations. I'm sure you will do great. Being in the stake primary presidency, I get to see first hand how hard these presidencies really work and what an incredible impact they have on these children. You will be lifted up and given the "wings of eagles" for all of your efforts. Still, I think I'll stick with the stake for as long as they'll let me. It is so fun to be involved in primary without having to deal firsthand with everything that goes into it every week. Thinking of you! Again, you will be so wonderful, I'm sure!
You will do great!! I was Primary president for 2 1/2 years and absolutely loved it!! Use the Friend magazine. They have great ideas for Sharing Time even if you just use it as a starting point! I was scared to death when they first put me in, but you catch on quickly. Good Luck!
