What is wrong with me? I hit a deer in December, a tree a few weeks ago and now today I decided to back out of my driveway, right into a car. Honestly! What is going on here? I'm hoping that these things happen in three's. My van is not too happy about all my accidents, either. And, of course, the deer hit the front bumper, the tree hit the rear left and the car hit the rear right. So when I pay a ton of money now to get the recent damage repaired, they won't be able to fix any of the other dents. I hit the car of a cute older lady in my neighborhood who was 1) rushing home to meet the police after ADT called to tell her someone was breaking into her house and 2) was on her way home from TWO funerals! The accident just added to her awesome life. I seem to have that kind of affect on people. Luckily no one was hurt.
The past week has been busy. There have been changes in church callings, sick children, numerous kid activities and a pile of laundry that grows everyday but won't wash itself and go away. There have also been plenty of moments that have made me laugh. Such as today when Lindsey's little friend, Aeva, was getting into our van so I could drive the girls to dance class. She looked around our garage and said, "Wow. We don't have all this junk in our garage." Then she immediately turned to Brevan and asked him, "Why are your teeth SOOO big?" That's kind of like the comment Lindsey made a couple weeks ago when I broke out with zits. She looked at my face in disgust and said, "Mom? I'm worried that you have the chicken pox." Thanks, honey.

Don't you love the honesty of kids? Brooke rode in another friend's car to preschool, and after I picked her up, she said, "Abby's car is really dirty." I was like, "Uh, don't ever tell that to Abby's mommy, okay?"

I was going to ask the same thing....new calling? I got a three week break from primary and then they stuck me in the nursery. I don't think it will be my favorite calling.
I think we all get to have those moments when we get to back into cars......I've got you beat. I backed into a parked one in my own driveway! Poor lady though. It can only get better, right?
