Our Silly Kids

The kids answers are in blue and my answers are in red.

Brevan:

What are you good at? Playing video games, soccer, eating cereal, reading and the ability to think of this many things. He's so extremely smart about most subjects, especially science and history, and the scriptures. He is an amazing reader and has a calm demeanor. We have very rarely seen him cry, even when he was a baby.

What do you like to do? Read, that's all. Definitely read books and play video games.

What are your favorite toys? My bike. He has hardly ever played with toys, even when he was small. He likes to play with something once and then he doesn't see a point in playing with it again.

What do you like to eat? This is a hard one. Penni pasta, spaghetti with meatballs, about anything that's unhealthy. Meat, breads and pastas are about all he eats that healthy. He has always been a picky eater. He says he is a "carnivore" and shouldn't be required to eat anything but meat. He has a serious sweet-tooth, too.

What do you want to be when you grow up? This is gonna be a long list: A doctor, an artist, a chemist, a painter, a builder, and a computer expert. If this kid keeps at it, he'll be running a major corporation someday. His intelligence is amazing to me.

My favorite sports team is: I'd have to say the Bronco's. He's never been much of a sports fan. He doesn't hate sports, but just isn't interested in them.

My favorite songs are: Soulja Boy, Girlfriend, In the End, Crawling, We Will Rock You, and the National Anthem. He loves music and listens to it all the time. Although he named these songs, I'd say his favorites right now are anything by Miley Cyrus or the Jonas Brothers.

Some nicknames I have are: Chief, Buddy and Brevan. He got these right - we've always called him either Chief or Buddy.

Brynlie:

What are you good at? Reading, running, riding my bike and eating candy. She's a great reader, dancer and singer. Teachers have always told us that she's the ideal student. She is extremely easy at home also. She gets along well with her siblings and is a big helper for me. She seems mature beyond her years.

What do you like to do? Eat candy, jump on the tramp, play with friends, swim and go on walks with my family. She also spends much of her day dancing and preparing to be a popstar someday! She has a wonderful imagination and can spend hours and hours playing with Barbies and other toys. She is also very into fashion and loves to go through her closet to make "outfits" and try out different hairstyles.

What are your favorite toys? Would my camera count? And my Barbie dolls and my coloring books and markers. Her big dollhouse, Barbies and coloring markers/pens.

What do you like to eat? Coffee cake, brownies, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, crackers, spaghetti, eggs and pumpkin pie. She's a pretty good eater. She loves oranges, apples, meats, corn, breads, pastas, brocolli and yogurt.

What do you want to be when you grow up? An artist, teacher, librarian, help sick animals and be a computer teacher. She changes her mind all the time, but I love that she almost always adds "Mom" to her list.

My favorite sports team is: What does that mean? The Kearney Bulldogs. She's much more into noticing how the cheerleaders have their hair done than noticing what team is playing!

My favorite songs are: Girlfriend, Sweet Escape, and Kelly Clarkson songs. She also loves Miley Cyrus (she's seen every episode of Hannah Montana), Rihanna (the clean songs that we let her listen to) and her Kids Bop CD's with various artists. She loves pop music and can't stand rock.

Some nicknames I have are: Monkey, Petunia and Bryndersmella. The only ones I'd add are Stinkerbell and Brynlie Girl.

Lindsey:

What are you good at? Playing computer, riding my bike 'cuz I won't fall down and spelling. Making her family laugh! Lindsey is the funniest little person we know. She has always said and done the funniest things. She is also very sweet and gets along well with others.

What do you like to do? Read books, watch TV, and play games. She loves to play with friends and her big sister, but doesn't have much of an imagination on her own. When Bryn's at school, Lindsey follows me around like a puppy dog. She has always been needy and attached to my hip. But she and Ryan have always had a very strong bond from the moment she was born.

What are your favorite toys? I don't really have favorite toys, but it might be my princess that's a Barbie. She IS a Barbie and her NAME is Barbie - crazy!! Barbies, dolls, and books books books.

What do you like to eat? Candy. Still candy. And do I have to say something besides candy? OK, 3 candies and . . .Daddy's pie that he makes. She is the ultimate Word of Wisdom eater. She eats a lot of fruits and veggies, but eats very little meat. She can't stand the texture. She is also a sweet-tooth.

What do you want to be when you grow up? Artist, ballerina and an ice skater. And someone who gives out ice cream in an ice cream truck. Every night after we tuck her in, we walk to the doorway and she says,"I need to tell you my grow-ups" and she proceeds to tell us all the things she's going to be someday. We tell her she can be all those things, and more.

My favorite sports team is: I don't have a sports team because I'm just little. Actually Mommy, what is my sports team? We think that this girl might be an athlete someday, because she's more of a rough-and-tumble girl than Brynlie. We'll see if she gets interested in sports in the future. Right now she wants to dance like a princess.

My favorite songs are: I Love to See the Temple and the song that goes like this: I Am a Child of God. And Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. She loves all songs, but especially Primary songs.

Some nicknames I have: Pumpkin, Cookie, and Pumpkin Pie. And Sunshine!! Lindserbell, Cutie Patootie and many other silly ones that just come to me.

I can't really fill this out for Logan yet, since he obviously can't answer. Right now he is working on being a wrestler, learning to walk (he's so lazy and just refuses to stand up) and sleeping through the night.
