Day at the lake

We took the kids to Missouri's "beach" yesterday. The sand is flown in (although it's pretty muddy by this time of the season), and it feels just like a beach, besides the obvious lack of any waves! It got us so excited for our upcoming California trip, when we can hang out on an actual beach! Here are a few pictures from our fun in the sun. (I should really get in front of the camera one of these days, instead of always being the photographer. But this way I had an excuse to not have my picture taken in a swimsuit!)
