My man

On Wednesday night Ryan took Brevan to a Royal's baseball game and dinner, and then last night he took the girls on a "date" to the movie theater. He is such an amazing father and husband, so I thought I'd give him a little recognition on this blog today. Here are some of the reasons I love him:

1. He absolutely adores his kids. He tries so hard to spend quality time with each of them and he loves to be with them.

2. He is the hardest worker I have ever known. He is incredibly dedicated to his work and gives 110%.

3. He has such a strong testimony of the gospel and honors his priesthood. He spends much of his time serving others because of his busy calling in the Bishopric.

4. He listens to me when I need to vent and tries to give input where needed or remains quiet when I just need him to listen.

5. He does so much around the house. He always gets the kids involved in a "family clean time" on the weekend, and I bet he cooks half the dinners we eat.

6. He always encourages me to have my own hobbies and take time for myself. When I start to get overwhelmed, he'll tell me to get out and do something fun.

7. He is a great talker and will discuss interesting topics with me.

8. He can be emotional (sorry Ry, but I had to add this one!). He has cried in movies (but I won't say which ones, or he would REALLY be mad at me), while giving his testimony and in conversations with me or others.

9. He has always been the one to get up with the kids during the night. The kids all yell "Daddy!" when they are cold, need a drink, had a bad dream or feel sick. Ryan actually enjoys taking care of them in the night.

I'm so grateful for my wonderful hubby!
