The little runaways
After I did the other postings today, I walked into the family room to see my girls with their backpacks, pillows and misc. other items. When I asked them what they were doing, they told me that they were running away "because they just need some time on their own." They said they would "be back on December 3rd, so we can celebrate Christmas with you" and that they were going to sleep in a "meadow". They grabbed some graham crackers and a sippy cup in case they got thirsty, and they were off. They had some problems, such as how to hold on to their pillows and blankies while riding their bikes. I captured the whole thing on video, but haven't yet figured out how to upload it. It was pretty hilarious, but I couldn't laugh because they wanted me to take them very seriously! I told them I would miss them and would welcome them home if they chose to come back. Then I called Ryan and told him to get home quickly so he could see the girls at the end of the road before they were off on their journey. There is just never a dull moment around here. By the way, I bought myself a new camera last night, and I'm LOVING it!

Ali-
That is hilarious! I bet it was hard to keep a straight face while watching that! What did you do to tick them off, make them eat their broccoli?
