For the next 6 weeks, I'm going to be working hard on 3 goals:
My first goal:
I've been inspired by many of you who write in your blogs about how much you LOVE running. I don't ever think I will love to run, but I got myself back out on the trail last night. I was working out pretty well before our Utah trip, but now it's been almost a month and my pants have been a wee bit too tight lately. I have been wearing these running shoes that I got on a sale at TJMaxx last year, and I would come home with blisters all the time. So my husband took me to a sporting goods store yesterday and helped my cheap self spend way too much money on good shoes, socks and work-out clothing. When we got home I put on my new gear, strapped on the IPOD and hit the trail. And guess what . . .GOOD SHOES MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE! I was actually able to really enjoy the workout! I did a 4 mile walk/jog and I'm hoping that I can run the whole thing soon.
My second goal:
Brevan, Brynlie and I are going to each read all of D&C before school starts next month (Brynlie will be reading the cartoon strip version). Brevan just finished the whole Book of Mormon. He had given himself a goal of reading it in 100 days and he read it in 85 days. What a great kid!
My third goal:
I know this sounds like a silly goal, but it's to stop nursing Logan. I'm slowly weaning him because he's almost a year old. I'm not wanting to let him grow up, but I need to stop nursing him because I'm going to Manhattan, NY with some of my girlfriends for 5 days in October, and I need to have him be less attached to me when I leave. I'm such a sucker for my blonde baby, so this goal might be the hardest of all. Oh, but did I mention that I'm going to NYC with my girlfriends?! I can't wait!
Wish me luck!

I know you can accomplish all these goals. That is so great that Brevan has read the Book of Mormon. It took me most of my life before I had read it all the way through. Way to go.
If I can run so can you. I've got plenty of bladder control issues myself. Start doing your keigals (not sure of spelling).
Those are some great goals. I can't run to save my life. That would be such agreat goal for me. I need to be much better. Not right now though, I am fat doggin' it and lovin' every minute!
