Girl trip to Vegas - April, 2012

I'm finally getting around to uploading these pictures from our girl trip a few weeks ago. Since we put together a separate book every year, I'm not going to put all the details into this blog book.  The vacation was a much-needed, relaxing, bonding trip together.  For the first time ever, me and Tiff didn't stay up all night talking!  We had so much fun during the days, and then would get a full night sleep before continuing on with our girl fun.  We made a goal to eat as many ethnicity's as we could during our stay.  If I remember right, we ate Greek, German, Jewish, Japanese, Mexican, Italian French.  I'm sure I'm forgetting a few!  I can't express how much fun I had being with my mom and sisters, and how much I needed this time away with my favorite girls!  I laughed so much I came home with sore cheeks!

We got up one morning and went running.  It felt good to work off a bit of the food we indulged in during our trip!

Kara was determined to lay out in the sun, even though it was really cold while we were in Vegas!  We laid out by the pool when it was only 60 degrees!

These pictures make us look so girly, because we went to Sephora two days in a row for make-overs.  We learned how to apply make-up correctly, since getting done up is not our strong points.  We felt so fashionable and pretty!  It was a far cry from our real lives of being busy moms!

We went shopping.  A lot.  It's so fun to indulge in the girly life for a few days every year!

It seems a bit embarrassing now that we are back home, but we spent hours and hours getting ready every day, since we didn't have the distractions of kids or schedules.  Kara's ADD would kick in after about an hour and she would pace the house while me and Tiff lazily chatted and fixed our hair!

We have a tradition of buying a matching clothing item on our trips.  This was the year of the baggy blue shirts that hide our baby pooches!

And posing for the camera in our best model stances is a must.

Funny story to include:  while walking away from Tiff and Mom in a very busy casino, me and Kara started doing a matching butt shuffle to make Tiff and Mom laugh.  After about a minute of shaking our booties, we turned around to see people staring at us, but no Tiff or Mom in site!  We had to re-enact the moment while going to lunch one day.

And one long drink of juice before we all board the plane to head home.  I'm so grateful for these yearly trips with my favorite girls!  We stayed at a house in Vegas from April 11-14.  There are more pictures to upload from other cameras, so I will include more of our funny moments another time.
