Ryan's ankle has continued to cause him trouble, and has been hurting more than it did when he originally injured it. The x-ray came back negative for a break, so the doctor did an MRI, which showed a major ligament tear. Poor guy has to visit the orthopedic surgeon today, to be fitted with a boot and possibly schedule a surgery to repair the damage. This is all happening 2 days before our trip, where we have planned to snorkel, scuba-dive, hike Mayan ruins and swim with dolphins. I'm not sure all of our plans will work out, considering Ryan can't wear fins on his feet because it causes him severe pain when he rotates his ankle.
Well, we might be spending more time relaxing on the beach than we thought. I can handle that!

Oh no.....how sad is that.
darn it! No hiking for you guys. But, relaxing on the beach sounds really nice right about now. Have fun!
