Ryan spent the weekend on the couch, after a pretty decent basketball injury on Thursday night. He even stayed home from church, since he couldn't figure out a way to wear shoes. Coincidence that it was Superbowl weekend?
Check out that ankle! His foot got so swollen that he couldn't move his toes!

The difference between the two feet. His swollen ankle could belong to a 400 pound man!

After church on Sunday, I went into full Superbowl preparation. We are football fans, and even though I don't care much for the NFL, it isn't American to not watch the Superbowl. I'm convinced that Heavenly Father is OK with it. Family togetherness time, right? :)
We had a lot of delicious grub. I got the kids involved by letting them make Chocolate Rice Krispy Footballs. Although we were rooting for the Saints (who won), we were excited to watch Austin Collie, a rookie for the Colts who is LDS and played for BYU.

Ouch! That is a doozie. I must admit that I have never, not once, watched the superbowl.....and probably no other sport besides the olympics on TV. Un-American for sure. Although the whole party around it sounds like a blast! Glad you had a good weekend!
