Ryan and I decided to allow Brevan and Brynlie to watch the new episode of iCarly the other night, "if they felt good about it." We sat right next to them, and I tried to not outwardly cringe every time the show talked about dating or kissing. The kids were both quite uncomfortable the whole time, realizing the show wasn't appropriate. When it got over, they both admitted that it's probably not a good idea for them to watch the show anymore.
Successful parenting! Woohoo!

Perfect! It is amazing what giving them a little control along with the responsibility can be. I love that you sat with them to watch it. Lesson learned. I've been curious. You're awesome!
Good job Ali! Amazing how they can get it when it's explained to them. :)
