One

One. That was the temperature as I drove my sick baby boy to the doctor today. He has bronchitis, and I'm wondering how he's supposed to overcome it when the weather won't cooperate and warm up a bit?

Christmas break here has been extended. Usually a great thing, because I love having my kids home. But come on. We are ALL ready to get back in a routine. The kids had school on Monday, and then school was cancelled for the rest of the week, due to snow and cold temperatures. Pretty funny when you're a former Utahn, but this really has been quite the bad winter for these lifetime midwesterners. The kids have ventured out to play a couple times, but realize very quickly that it's far too cold to play in the snow.

Since I'm cooped up inside the house also, I've decided to make use of my time and do some painting. Lindsey was "helping" me paint the bathroom the other day. While I grabbed the camera and took this picture, the paint dried a little too much and now there is a faint picture of a girl permanently imprinted on the wall.

Please pray for school to start up again on Monday! 24 days off school is just plenty . . .
