Day on the lake

Our friends, Tina and Jeff, invited us to go boating with them on Saturday. We love to spend time at the lake, so we anxiously agreed, but I ended up staying home because I had a baptism to attend in the afternoon. Although it was sad to miss a beautiful day on the lake, it was so nice to have the house to myself for many hours! I spent the first hour pacing and trying to decide which chore to accomplish first. Then I just let all the guilt fly out the window, and sat down to read a good book for the next couple hours. It was so wonderful!! While at the lake, Tina took a ton of pictures of my cute family. I would love to have the camera she has, because she was really able to capture some great moments!

Isn't Missouri just beautiful? I love how the forest of trees comes right to the edge of the water.

Apparently Jesus is not the only man who can walk on water!

Rayce holding Logan, who fell asleep for most of the boat ride.
Ryan and Brevan - I'm thinking they should try out for a synchronized swimming team! :)

Ryan and Bryn

I think this picture is priceless! Ryan is just happy as can be, Logan is not so sure about this boating and tube riding stuff, and Lindsey is just plain bored because they aren't going fast enough!
Logan kept letting go of the tube and waving at the riders in the boat!
We are CONSIDERING buying a share in this boat. Ryan is just giddy that I'm even considering it. My poor husband is so patient with my cheapness, but I'm thinking I need to relax and let him get some toys. We'll see . . .

Oh man! I love those pictures we've had some so crazy pics like that but only with the kids I don't think any of the guys here are in good enough shape to handle to jars... Thanks for telling me how to make the book. I can't wait to start!! Yeah!! Also I love the idea about money in the jar when reading scriptures! I'm for sure going to copy you!!!
