Some of Logan's newest phrases:
Oh my heck!
Oooh, shute!
Dus a midit, eday? (Just a minute, OK?)
Mommy, watch this!
Wanna go bed now.
Hey guys! (Said to his brother and sisters when he sees them in a group)
(When I was changing the channel on the TV) No, Mommy! I wanna watch foooootball!
Where you going?
What you doing?
What's your name, Mommy? (I answer "Ali") Oh, Ali. I me!
More yo, pwease! (More show, please!)
Doe doo dat!! (Don't do that! . . .do you think maybe he hears this pretty often?)
Dop it! (Stop it . . .again, a phrase he knows because he hears it often)
When he's doing something wrong, and I ask him if he's being nice, he very seriously tells me, "I no be nice. I be mean!"
When he hears the older kids arguing, he will come "tell" me about it, like this:
"And zebubshoomagdabobbymmmmm and say NO WAY!"
Conversations often go like this:
Logan, did you have fun in nursery?
Ya, ya!! Nursery fun!
What did you do?
Ummm, seen sons and ummmm, pay! (Sing songs and play)
It also cracks us up when we ask him something and he doesn't know the answer. Instead of saying "I don't know," he shrugs his shoulders and does that "mm - mm- mm" sound that means you don't know.
He has called shoes "eeshes" for months now, but he has finally changed it to "shoosh." He is a shoe fanatic.
He has also said "abre" for months, which means "open" in Spanish. Good old Dora! Now he says "open" though, and I really miss the Spanish version!
When he wants to ask us something, and he's not sure if we'll agree, he puts his hands together in front of him, puts his cutest face on and says, "Pwease, Mommy? Pwease?" How can I say no to that?
