Let's see, other things about my baby . . .
- He is obsessed with Dora. He asks me a million times a day for "Bottle, Dora. Please?" He refuses to call a sippy cup anything but bottle. When I tell him to say "cup," he says, "No cup! My bottle!"
- His Mommy and (especially) Daddy will give him anything when he smiles at us and says, "I love you, too!"
- He loves to "push" his Daddy's car out of the driveway every day when Ryan leaves for work.
- He still sleeps inbetween his Mommy and Daddy most nights. At times we have had him sleep on a mattress on our floor, or in Brevan's room with him. But honestly, we miss him. We have recently realized, however, that he needs to move out of our room. I have had each of my tiny babies in bed with me when I'm nursing, but then I would be fine if they moved to a crib. My husband does not allow that, though. He doesn't care if he doesn't get any sleep at night, as long as he gets sweet cuddles from a little tyke. And I have to say I love that.
- He is suddenly talking so much! He says long sentences now, such as, "Mommy, I push button, OK?," "I almost ready to go," "You see bus, Mommy?" or "I want more bite, please." I just love this stage! He also learned how to say Brevan's name, which is pronounced "Bweban" and Brynlie's name, which is pronounced "Bwynzy."
- He loves shoes, but especially glittery girl flipflops. If he sees flipflops anywhere, he will quickly throw his shoes in the corner and prance around in the flipflops.
- He is apparently quite an angel most of the time that he's away from home. He is very well-behaved in nursery, and has never had a problem going. The first time we took him to nursery, he waved bye-bye and walked in the room.
- He screams the whole time I change his diaper. Every time.
- He loves to play with his big sisters, even when they are playing "Bawbees."
- He is going to love preschool next year. It makes him so angry when we drop off Lindsey and he doesn't get to stay and play.
- He is a pretty picky eater. He likes bananas, yogurt, peanut butter and honey sandwiches, toaster scrambles, apples, chunks of ham, rice, and a certain casserole I make. But that's about it.
- I love his hair. It's so soft and blonde. Plus it lays down so well, so I never do anything with it. He looks like a little surfer dude.
- He is a great laundry helper. He sits on the dryer, pours the detergent in the washer, and waits for me to hand him clothes to stuff down inside. Then he closes the lid and yells, "All done!"
- He has the cutest laugh in the world!
- He doesn't like to sit still for me to read him books yet. After about one minute, he's running away.
- He rarely takes naps anymore, because when he does he is up until 10:30. He and Lindsey have been my worst sleepers. They both wake up very easily, and don't need much sleep. Lindsey needs about 9 hours of sleep a day and Logan needs about 10.
- His birthday is only 4 days before the cut-off for school, so I think I'm going to hold him back and he'll actually be 6 by the time he starts kindergarten. So I have 4 more years with him at home. Kindergarten is all-day here, and I just think it's too long for a barely-5-year-old to handle.
- He loves to go bye-bye, buts hates his carseat.
- He loves to be outside, which is pretty amazing to me. Brevan HATES being outside and Lindsey doesn't like it. So it's nice that at least Brynlie and Logan love to be in the outdoors! He would sit in the driveway and ride his bike all day if I let him.
Here are photos of Logan's first 2 years of life. They uploaded from newest to oldest, so he will get younger as they go along! I didn't want to take the time to switch the order of every picture!
2-years-old in Idaho
First birthday fun!

About 9 months old.
He had to wear this helmet to correct his head shape. He wore it from the time he was 6 months to 11 months old. We usually had it off when we took pictures of him, but he had to wear it 23 hours a day.
Into everything!
5 months old - first experience with Oreos!
Brynlie accidentally gave him this sore on his head, because he loved to lay on the carpet and have her pull him by his legs all over the house. Poor guy got a bad rug burn!
Sitting up! Yay!
First bite of baby food.
First Christmas! Almost 5 months

4 months old.
Oh, how I miss my baby being so tiny! I just want to scoop him up and give him big kisses on those soft cheeks!
The one and only time he sucked his thumb, 3-and-a-half months old.
Grandma and Grandpa Ellefsen came to visit when he was 3 months old.
First Halloween. How cute is my baby bear?
Snoozing with Grandpa Ellefsen.
The fist time his sisters decided to dress him up. Poor boy.
3 months old
Logan got pneumonia when he was 2 months old. I was afraid I had another kid who had bad lungs, but he hasn't had to use the nebulizer since then.
What a chunk! One of his first smiles.
His first time to a Royal's game!
Grandma and Grandpa Springer visited when Logan was 2 months old.
Blessing day, 2 months old.
One of my favorite pictures ever.

Logan refused to take a binky. Instead, he had to suck on my pinky finger to soothe him.

First bath! He did not find it very fun.
Home from the hospital, 2 days old.
In the hospital.
Yuck. Try to ignore me in this first family picture. I gained over 70 pounds when I was pregnant with Logan, and got "pregnancy mask," which discolored my whole face.

There's no way you gained 70 lbs! I would have thought more like 10.
I love all these pictures. What a great way to see how much he's grown. He really is a cutie!
