When I read the first 2 books this year I felt that they were just "O.K." I don't know why, maybe I need to go back and read them again. I've had the 3rd one here for a couple months and haven't cracked it open yet. But now I have a renewed interest in seeing how the story ends. I went to the movie (and dinner . . .twice . . .once before the show and once after LOL) with a bunch of good girl friends last night. I not only had a blast with the girls, but I really liked the movie! There were a couple things that were a little strange, and I felt like the plot was rushed, but I really liked it. I have no obsession with Edward, as many girls do, and wasn't very impressed with the guy who played him in the movie. It was hilarious to look around and see all the Twilight fanatics clapping on opening night! But now, I'm going to head upstairs to my comfy bed and start the third book in the series. As a quick sidenote, I have to give Brevan props on the cool post title he came up with. Perfect!

That is IT! The plot felt rushed to me as well. I have to admit I am only mildly interested in reading the books even after watching the movie. Hrrmm...I must be missing "it". lol
Okay the sushi was TO DIE FOR! I am craving that crab salad and the Ichi Roll!!! I may have to show up on your doorstep with sushi soon...
Oh you will love the other 2 books. I didn't love book #2. I saw the movie last night and I can't quit thinking about it! I am a fanatic
I loved the books. The third was my favorite of them all. I did think the movie was quite a dud though. Super bad acting and a bit cheesy. I found myself laughing out loud in many parts. I think they could have done a much better job with the movie. So I was let down after seeing it. Maybe they will do a better job with the next if they end up making another. At least it was a fun night out.
Thankyou!!! I can finally come out of hiding and say the actor for edward was aweful!!! I wish they would have put some plot into the movie. It was all over the place. There I said it- I'm so glad you think so too:) It was very funny to listen to everyone scream and go crazy over edward and jacob at the theater.
p.s. the 4th book was fun. Just skip the middle were she goes off on a tangent. :)
