Halloween fun

Brevan has officially hit the age where he doesn't think it's very cool to dress up. I talked him into wearing his karate uniform, but he told me that the other kids made fun of him because he's only a white belt (he just started karate a couple months ago). Darn 4th graders who have to be so mean some times! :) But at least he made his Mama happy! He's showing me his karate moves in this picture.

This is the move he pulled on me when I was at his school to watch the kids parade around in their costumes.
This is me . . .just kidding. I'm not nearly that cool. But I had to add this picture of Brevan's teacher. This picture doesn't give her justice, because I was seriously freaked out when I saw her!
My little Logan monkey. How dang cute is he? He was not a fan of the costume. Especially because I had purposely bought a really warm outfit for him because it's always so cold on Halloween. Then it was in the 70's on Halloween, and it was still in the 60's when they went trick-or-treating! Short-sleeves and flip-flops for me this year. I can't complain!

Our very own Hannah Montana! Brynlie wore this costume in her dance recital last spring, and I told her that she would also be wearing it for Halloween so I wouldn't feel like I was spending a ton of money for only one night! We bought the wig, which was already pretty ratted by the evening. We took these pictures at the trunk-or-treat that was held at their elementary school.

Lindsey had two costumes in the dance recital last year. She wore this pirate one on Halloween and the bee one at her school party the day before Halloween (pictured below). She looked so adorable on both days and got compliments everywhere we went.
Unfortunately, Lindsey's baby brother decided to break her antennas (big surprise) so we had to improvise. I put a Halloween headband on her and called it good. This picture barely shows any of the costume. There's a darling stinger that sticks way out in back. In the recital last year she had to turn around and "shake it!" for everyone.

Your kids are just adorable and I loved their costumes! I love the look Logan has on his face with his hands on his hips.

It was in the 60's for us on Halloween too. I can't believe how warm it has been the last few days. I am lovin' it!

So cute! I was very impressed by the witch - I'm not that cool either! Your kids are darling. It is weird to think that we are old enough to have 10 year olds, but when I started thinking about it, if Jason and I had been able to get pregnant when we wanted to, I would have a 12 year old now - that's even more weird. I guess it's a good thing it took us four years.
