One of the fun things about Kearney is that most of the town gets excited for the home football games. This week Brynlie attended a "cheer camp" where she got cheer instruction from the high school cheerleaders and drill team. Then tonight she got to perform the cheers and dances for the stadium before the game and during half-time. She also got to help make a line for the football players to run through before the game began. It was perfect weather tonight . . .70 degrees and no humidity . . .so we had a lot of fun at the game. We love that we live close enough to the high school that we were able to walk home.

Brynlie with the Bulldog. She gave me an ultimatum and said she would get her picture taken with the Bulldog as long as I told him ahead of time that he could not touch her!
GO KEARNEY BULLDOGS!! Now we're off to bed, since Ryan is still adjusting to this getting up at 5:00 am thing to go teach seminary. He's exhausted by the weekend! Maybe if we would actually get our butts to bed before 11 or midnight, it would help!

Amen with the bed thing! We look at the clock at 10:30 and think, yea, we still have an hour and a half - and we wonder why we're wasted the next day?! Looks like a fun night at the game!
She is so cute! Makes me want a cute little girl to do girly stuff with.
I love the ultimatum:) That cracks me up! Reminds me of something elek would say. What a fun night for Brynlie. We miss the small town events.
