Then we had to take Lindsey to dance class at 11:15 (after a few other errands). What a beautiful ballerina! Lindsey loves to dance and dress-up in girly ballet clothes.
Then when school got out, I had to pick up cub scouts from various elementary schools and take them on a nature hike for this week's den meeting. I'm not going to say that I was overly thrilled when I was called to be a den leader, but I really love the boys in the group, and it's fun to do the weekly activities with them. My younger kids get excited also, because they get to tag along on all the outings. Lindsey laminated her "nature finds," including a live caterpillar.
And now, to let you know a little bit more about our Lindserbell, I interviewed her tonight:
What chores do you do?
Clean my room, clean the basement, put away laundry.
What makes you sad?
When people hurt my feelings and when people yell at me.
What makes you happy?
I know what makes me happy - not cleaning my room!!
What makes you mad?
When people do this at me (then demonstrates a mean face with a grunt). And do you know what I laugh about? When Brynlie does crazy dances in the car! And that when everybody does crazy dances - I laugh! {I love the funny grammer she uses, so I wrote it just like she said it}
Who's the smartest person in your family?
Um, me because I'm 4.
What is Daddy really good at?
He's good at reading stories.
What can you do better than Daddy?
I don't know, but I know what Daddy can do better than me - he can lift weights higher than me! But I can . . .I don't know. But Daddy is also good at picking apples from very high trees! And he's good at lifting me.
How are you and me (Mommy) alike?
We both have glasses! Remember? Because I have Fancy Nancy ones!
How old am I (Mommy)?
21 {Was that the right answer or what?!}
How tall is Dad?
As tall as all the doors.
What is one thing I always say to you?
I know that you always kiss my cheek! And you always say "I love you! I love you!"
How do you know that Dad and I love you?
You hug and kiss me before bedtime.
What is your favorite thing to do with Brynlie?
Play pony games with her.
What do you take to bed at night?
A blankie and my Sugar Bear.
What's your favorite book?
Little Red Riding Hood. And I know what show is funny - the Wizard of Oz!! Because the little people are funny!
What toy would you never give away?
I know what I would never give away - my ponies!
Who's your best friend?
Oh, I know. You mean my best friends? Cate and Lexi. And some of my friends are boys, but not boyfriends. Well, and Macy, Jorjia, well . . .and my family.
What size shoes do you wear?
Size 3.
How many kids do you want when you grow up?
11. I mean 3.
Who are you going to marry?
I'm gonna marry Brevan. I mean Logan, because Logan's my favorite baby so he'll be my favorite boyfriend.
Where are you going to get married?
I know exactly where it is . . .the temple! Or a house. Why would I get married at a house? That's silly. Then where would my flower girl be?
What do you always fight about with your sister and brothers?
Um, when Brevan and Brynlie break stuff. And that's all. Well, and when Brevan got my Sugar Bear wet.
What's your favorite holiday?
Ooh, holiday? Um, snow! And Christmas!! Ooh, and Easter! 3 favorites!
What's your favorite joke?
What did the frog say when it went to the library? Read-it! Read-it! Read-it!
What food would you eat everyday if I let you?
Candy.
If you could choose a different name, what would it be?
Um, I know - my name could be . . .it starts with an A. But I don't know what starts with an A. Actually, I do know a name . . .Ellie. Ellie. Ellie.
If you had a million dollars, what would you buy first?
The real swim baby! That's a girl, not the boy. And then I would buy a microphone . . .ya, ya, ya! So when I sing, it would sound crazy like this (sings a Miley Cyrus song, and starts talking like a cowgirl, saying, "What? Say what?")
Lindsey through the years . . .
On Thanksgiving, when she was 2 months old.

18 months old. I took this picture of her while we were walking on the trails near our house one day after church. April, 2006.

Lindsey at age 2.
When she was hospitalized with pneumonia during Feb./March, 2006.
Age 2 1/2, on Easter morning, 2006.
My kids could live at the lake! Here's Lindsey and Ryan on a jetski at Lake of the Ozarks, summer 2007. Lindsey was not quite 3 years old.
Showing her funny personality. She is by far the funniest little person we have ever met.Lindsey and Brynlie are just the best of friends. They share a room, and then spend most of their day playing together.
They like to wear "twinner" outfits. This picture was taken on Easter, 2008.
At the park, summer 2008.
Our very own movie star!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SWEET PRINCESS!

Seriously, so cute!
It amazes me that she is about the same age as Will and yet they are so so different. What a difference gender and having older siblings can do. She is absolutely darling! Loved getting so see into her cute personality a little better!
