Tidbits of life

I'm now sporting another new Blackberry Curve cell phone, since my cute pink one had a traumatic experience last week in Sherwin Williams parking lot. Apparently Blackberry's are not fans of toddlers throwing them on the concrete. I lost the little roller ball and spent about an hour searching for it. No luck, so I had to get a new phone.

Brynlie started piano lessons a couple weeks ago. These are her thoughts: "Awesome, great, wonderful, great exercise for your fingers! Very fun! Love my teacher, scared for the recital." I'm so proud as I watch her tickle the ivories.

Lindsey has a funny saying that cracks me up every time she says it. Today while we were at the park and she was on a teeter-totter, she warned us all to "hold on for dear death!" Hehehe.

Logan is difficult and adorable. He learned to say "Daddy" and says it constantly. ALL DAY he asks me,
"ere Daddy?" At work.
"ere Baba? (Brevan)" At school.
"ere inee? (Brynlie)" At school.
And then he starts all over again. It's really cute for about 2 minutes.

General Conference weekends are some of my favorite weekends of the whole year. We lay around in our pajamas, eat tons and tons of good food and enjoy being uplifted. I always ask for food requests the week before Conference, so I can make sure to have something everyone loves. This time Lindsey requested peanut butter cookies, Brynlie wanted pumpkin pie with whip cream and Brevan wanted grilled hamburgers and french fries. We had the Simmons over to watch Conference on Sunday, and enjoyed our time with them!

Brevan is participating in the "Battle of the Books" tomorrow. His "team" has read a bunch of Mark Twain books, and now they get to compete with each other and other schools to show how much they know. The only drawback: they meet at 7:30 in the morning. He doesn't mind, but his mom does.

We are re-decorating our basement and some of our main level. We're going to paint and recarpet so we can turn the downstairs into more of a "media room." Lots of work, but hopefully we like how it turns out.

I still don't have my van back and I'm going CRAZY. They better call me before the weekend, or I might need to storm into the collision shop in tears.

My allergy shots are working!! I hardly have any problems with allergies this season! It's absolutely amazing to me, because I've been miserable since I was a teenager.

We are happy and healthy and loving life together!

You have a lot of fun things going on. BTW, we haven't been out to Utah to look for a house yet. We are thinking about finding a renter that we could possibly buy in the future. Jon might just go out by himself next weekend. It is hard not to buy something right now because of the market. So we'll see.

I got my blog background from Leelou blogs but I go in and change the paper. It is hard to explain how to do it. I could tell you over the phone or maybe you could figure it out.

Such funny kids... Hey I did those allergy shots but couldn't finish the series cause I got pregnant with Mikayla. They totally helped though! Amazing stuff huh!
