8 things

8 things I am looking forward to:
1. Vacation to Cabo with Ryan (no kids!) this year.
2. School being out for summer so my kids are home more.
3. My house being cleaner someday when my kids are all in school (am I just dreaming here?)
4. Swim team to start for Brevan, Brynlie and Lindsey.
5. Watching Brevan and Brynlie perform in the "High School Musical" in June.
6. Vacation to Utah this summer.
7. Piano, dance, scouts and soccer to end for the summer so we can relax more.
8. Finishing my basement remodeling.

8 things I did yesterday:
1. Ran around like crazy at church, doing all the administrative Primary stuff.
2. Took a wonderful nap with Ryan.
3. Woke up to a mess that the kids made while we napped (and Logan asleep in the middle of the kitchen floor).
4. Read my book (The Time Travelers Wife) for a couple hours (and winced at some of the language).
5. Made spaghetti, breadsticks and veggies for dinner.
6. Attended a cub scout committee meeting.
7. Listened to the thunderstorm, and loved it.
8. Helped Brynlie practice piano.

8 things I wish I could do:
1. Exercise every day.
2. Never get grumpy.
3. Hire someone to come over every morning to do my hair and makeup.
4. Grow flowers without killing half of them.
5. Read an entire book in one sitting, without interuptions.
6. Figure out how to help each of my kids be happy and gain a testimony.
7. Have time during the day completely to myself (no kids or husband needing me).
8. Sew.

8 shows I watch:
I have to come up with 8? I wish I had time to watch these more often than I do.
1. The Office
2. 30 Rock
3. Medium
4. Cold Case
5. Dateline/48 hours/ 2020 when it's interesting.
6. The weather part of the news when there's a storm coming through.
7. Hannah Montana
8. iCarly

8 things I'm grateful for:
1. That I was blessed to have the gospel in my life from birth.
2. Good friends who know me well, let me vent and make me laugh.
3. Siblings and parents that love me and make relationships a priority.
4. My husband that sticks by me through all the ups and downs.
5. My kids that bring me more stress and joy than I ever thought possible.
6. Ryan's job that makes him happy and provides for our family's needs.
7. My family's health. I know this won't always be the case, but I'm so grateful that my loved ones aren't dealing with any MAJOR issues at the moment.
8. My church calling that is helping me learn so much, whether I want to learn it or not!

I can't even imagine being primary president and having a fourth kid. You are busy!

Good luck with the remodeling. You'll have to post pictures when you are done.

I had to laugh at the weather portion of the news! I've learned what time it comes on so that I don't have to listen to the rest of it. Brad thinks I'm wacko. :)
