Umm, sorry about yesterday

I'm really looking forward to our family vacation to California. We leave on Friday morning and will be back late on the 25th. I can't wait!! I'm excited to spend so much time just playing with Ryan and the kids. It's just what we all need.

Just to set the record straight:

a) I am not pregnant (thank goodness!)
b) My husband is being very helpful
c) I am not dying
d) No one I know is dying

Sorry about the stress I caused yesterday. I just went ahead and deleted that first post. I'm one of those people who can't stand to act fake. All of us have hard days and I figure it's best to get it out. I'm not someone who goes to church on Sunday and hopes that everyone else in the congregation thinks that my life is perfect. I'm in favor of us all wearing signs to church that say things like "my pet sin is _______" or "I'm struggling with _______." Then we can be a support to each other.

That said, I'm also not usually such an open book. I'll be fine. :) By the way, I loved Elder Uchtdorf's talk in General Conference about The Infinite Power of Hope. It's awesome. Again, go read it.

I'd better get packing now. We're off to bathe in the sunshine!

I miss it. =( But I have to say you are so FAR from anyone that I think that feels they act perfect, etc....you are right EVERYONE has bad days and NO ONE is perfect. Just because we STRIVE to be perfect doesn't mean we are. What is our goal in life but to strive to be more like Christ? It doesn't mean we ARE like Him. But rather, we WANT to and TRY to be like Him. I hope anyone wouldn't feel that you act fake or anything like that. You are SO FAR from that! And I LOVE Elder Uchtodorf! Of course Brenda thinks I love her....haha!

Have FUN on your trip I know you will! I am excited to see pictures and hear stories when you get back!

That is the beauty of friends.....people who know us and love us for who we are and are there to bear us up. I guess I missed your hard day post, but you are so right to think that nobody is perfect or have perfect lives, and those we think may be, we are only seeing their facade. And I so loved that talk too! Hope you have a truly wonderful trip!
