8 things tag

O.K., I've been triple tagged (by Meredith, Brenda and Heather) so I guess I'd better get on with it!

8 TV shows I enjoy watching when I have time and would like to chill:
1. The Office (best show ever!)
2. Without a Trace
3. American Idol when it's on
4. CSI - the normal one, not the horrible one with the freaky red-haired dude that's the worst actor of all time.
5. Hannah Montana - pathetic, I know. But it just cracks me up and my kids love when I watch their shows with them.
6. Cold Case
7. The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. I'm telling you . . some of those Disney shows are really funny!
8. The BYU channel that has recaps of past conferences, etc.

8 Things that happened yesterday:
1. I went to church
2. I wrapped Brynlie's presents and watched her open them with excitement
3. I made a chocolate birthday cake and ate way too much of it.
4. I read part of my book, "The Peacegiver."
5. I cleaned the kitchen.
6. I thanked my husband repeatedly for doing all the post-vacation laundry. He has done all the laundry for the past month. Can I tell you how nice that's been?
7. I made a to-do list for today (and got most of it done!)
8. I went through all the mail that had accrued while on vacation. It's never fun to come home to bills.

8 Things I am looking forward to:
1. The Temple being built so close to my home!
2. Halloween
3. Understanding the atonement better
4. Christmas (my parents are coming out for the whole week of Christmas!)
5. Serving a mission with Ryan someday.
6. Taking Ryan out on a date to celebrate his birthday (that was last week).
7. Passing the kidney stone that is hanging out in my kidney and causing me stress.
8. Going to bed in a minute, since I'm going to really regret staying up and doing this post when it's morning.

8 Things I love about Fall:
1. Hoodies and jeans.
2. Halloween
3. Cool, crisp air.
4. Thanksgiving
5. Watching the leaves change colors.
6. Celebrating the birthdays of Lindsey, Ryan, Brynlie and Brevan.
7. Looking forward to the holiday season.
8. Pumpkins.

8 Things on my wish list:
1. A maid.
2. More time and energy in my day.
3. The body of an 18 year old, with no stretch marks and a flat tummy. But without having to work for it.
4. Being able to snap my fingers in the morning and be ready, instead of having to go through the whole process every morning. It's like making the bed. I'm just going to have to ruin all my work at the end of the day.
5. A trip with my husband and no kids.
6. Straight teeth again.
7. No bills ever again.
8. Spending time with good friends.

That book is one of my favorites. I just finished it this summer. I love it. That whole get up in the morning and just snap my fingers and be ready...yeah that's a good one! haha

Brian and I always make fun of the red-headed guy on CSI. It seems like every episode he says (overdramatically), "It appears as if this is...a murder." Well, duh!

Amen Meredith!! We so mock him. The original CSI cracks me up also because they can NEVER turn on a light! I realize that it takes place at night but that doesn't mean there isn't electricity. I'm also pretty sure that labs don't work in the dark.... It drives me bonkers!
