The Best of Branson 2014

Table Rock Lake at sunset.  There isn't a more beautiful sight in all of Missouri.

My Mom compiled a photo book of our recent trip to Branson and Table Rock Lake, so I only want to upload each family member's best moments on this blog.  Our vacation was just about as perfect as it could be.  There are always a few moments on vacation when the patience wears thin, but this vacation had it all:  rest and relaxation, shopping, movies, a Branson show, and of course hours each day on our favorite Missouri lake.

LOGAN'S BEST MOMENTS

Cuddle time with his Mama

Pyramids on the tube

Learning volleyball skills

Giving us his signature grin

Playing with Grandpa

Conquering his fears by giving us the "thumbs up" on the tube

Driving the wave runner like a wild man

LINDSEY'S BEST MOMENTS

Cliff jumping like a daredevil

Learning to waterski while smiling ear to ear

Spreading sunshine and happiness

Showing us her newly acquired serving skills

Jumping waves until my sunglasses were lost forever

BRYNLIE'S BEST MOMENTS

Being the leading scorer in the family volleyball game

Doing toe-touches off the cliffs

Dancing.  Always dancing.

Always.

Stubbornly persevering until she could water ski like a champion.

Posing for the camera in her teal green shades

Swimming in the condo pool after spending the day swimming in the lake

BREVAN'S BEST MOMENTS

Wake boarding behind the boat

Pencil jumping off the cliffs

Practicing his driving skills on the water

Taking care of his younger siblings

Begging to be thrown off the blue tube

Showing his sisters how to pop out of the water on skis and enjoy the ride

MY BEST MOMENTS

Water skiing until the wake jumping knocked me on my butt

Thoroughly enjoying time with my favorite people

Volleying back and forth with my hubby

Holding on for dear life

RYAN'S BEST MOMENTS

Getting completely horizontal while cliff diving

Watching his family eat juicy burgers in front of him while he wished his taste buds would repair themselves more quickly. He has now lost 30 pounds in a month because he mostly drinks health shakes.

Catching some air on the wave board while the sun set

MOM AND DAD'S BEST MOMENTS

Learning that a life on the lake is not too shabby

Being whipped back and forth on the tube

Victorious!

Making 60's look like 40's

Cruising the lake

I hope Dad put sunscreen on that bald head!

Doing their aerobic exercises in the lake water

Celebrating Dad's 69th birthday by blowing out candles on his gluten-free frozen custard

Para-sailing - a once in a lifetime opportunity where they could feel like kids again.

Getting steamy!

Giggling when the instructor dipped them in the water before they shot back up in the sky

Attending an Abba tribute where Dad was welcomed on stage to dance.  His health has declined to the point that his doctor just ordered him a walker, but this man can still dance!

Thank you, Mom and Dad, for spending 10 wonderful days with my family!  We made memories that will last a lifetime.

What amazing pictures! Were those all taken with the camera which is the same as my camera? You definitely know how to use it better! What a great vacation. You guys deserved that rest and relaxation with two of my favorite people!
