Age 15, 9th grade

I love his crooked smile and his big eyes that aren't hidden behind glasses anymore.

Age 12, 6th grade

Someday she will thank me for making her wear braces.  I love her long, thick hair and beautiful eyes.

Lindsey

Age 9, 3rd grade

She has the most sensitive head of any child ever born, so curling her hair was torture.  We tell her she's a Scandinavian princess with her blond locks and blue eyes.

Logan

Age 6, Kindergarten

Oh my goodness, I love this picture so much.  I considered having him get re-takes, but I decided I would rather have the memory of our stubborn boy than a perfect picture!  When I saw this picture for the first time, I laughed out loud and knew EXACTLY why he had that expression.  I showed it to Ryan, who had the same reaction.  We weren't there on picture day, but we are 100% sure this is what happened:

Logan: {smiling}

Photographer:  "Ready?  Smile!"

Logan:  "I was smiling!"

Photographer:  "OK, well show me your best smile!"

Logan:  {thought: "Now I'm just annoyed, and there's no way I'm giving you a good smile.  I did it once and that's all you're gonna get.  You should feel lucky I'm still sitting in this chair."}
