In other news, Ryan and I attended the Brian Regan comedy show in a beautiful KC theater last week, and laughed so hard my stomach was sore for days! It was a fun date night.
Prayers are heard, even when they are not answered the way we think or in the time frame we desire. Our ward recently fasted for the Napiers because they have been struggling to figure out some solutions to their trials. God must have wanted them to learn patience, because their prayers were answered literally in the final hour. After watching many friends deal with really difficult trials lately, it was so wonderful to hear some good news.
A few random pictures from the last couple weeks. After leaving my bathroom messy one busy Sunday morning, the Bathroom Fairy came to my rescue by putting all my products in a pile and wiping off the counter. Logan devours books, and is reading at a level that even surprises me. He must pull out a book every night after we tuck him in, because this is usually how we find him when we check on him in the night.
A couple cute kiddos playing in the fall leaves. I get very sad as I drive through town and see the trees look so bare. I need to get in a happy Christmas mood, because thinking about winter is making me depressed.
I'm rebellious. I couldn't contain myself from taking these photos of Logan while he was participating in the Primary Program in our ward a couple weeks ago. He's just so darned handsome. You will notice that he and Dominick are the only kids standing up in the first picture. That is because they hadn't noticed everyone else sit down while they were having a heated discussion about superheroes.
