So far, a total of 3 family members affected by poison ivy. 4-6 loads of laundry a day since all bedding, towels and clothes need to be washed every time they are touched, and the trio is taking up to 5 showers a day (using a different towel each time). $250 spent on every medication found on pharmacy shelves. 3 doctor visits. 2 Prednisone shots. 4 prescriptions for steroids. Less than 3 hours of sleep most nights. 6 consecutive days of school missed so far. Innumerable amounts of crying and love extended.
I'm pooped.
And I am also now the official soccer coach of a group of 5-year-olds, since no one else offered to coach. I have almost zero knowledge of soccer, but the first game was not a complete failure (we lost 5 to 2). Should be fun and entertaining.
Lindsey begins therapy with a counselor on Friday, so hopefully she can learn to control some of her anxieties that seem to never cease.
I've bought a new purse and 3 new pair of shoes this week. Don't judge. Apparently retail therapy is keeping me from losing it completely.

No judgment here. You deserve much more than that!
