I didn't take many pictures at the swim conference, because I was too busy using the camcorder to capture the action. Logan got his best time on the 25m freestyle, and Brynlie got her best times on the backstroke and breaststroke. Logan looks so cute in his tiny speedo!
The swim conference was up in Savannah, an hour-and-a-half drive. I made the trek with the kids while Ryan was at Scout camp with Brevan for a few days. After 5 hours of sitting in the extreme heat with the kids, I was ready to leave. I drove a few extra kids home, including one child who would not leave Logan alone the entire ride. At one point, this child ripped a soda can in half, then put each of the sharp pieces in Logan's hands, cutting every single one of Logan's fingers. We were soaking up the blood with towels while I drove the nameless child to their house as quickly as I could. It was quite a hot and stressful day, so we all spent some much-needed time relaxing the rest of the evening.
Miss Tammy, pictured on the right, is the best swim coach EVER. She gives each of my kids so much individual attention and genuinely loves them. I feel like she's worked magic teaching Lindsey and Logan how to swim. I can't believe I wasted so much on swim lessons in the years before we joined swim team.
Logan kept himself busy while the older kids swam in their heats. He was quite impressed with the beard he created out of these stickers.
