Unusual January

This has been the warmest fall/winter I have ever experienced, so we have tried to take advantage of the sunshine.  Last Sunday I took the kids on a walk so we could feed the hundreds of geese that hang around the neighborhood lake.  We brought a couple loaves of bread, but the geese immediately flew away when they saw us coming.  Since we were already out in the nice weather, we decided to keep on walking.  I got out my camera and took these pictures of the kids.

Brevan complained repeatedly about being forced to enjoy nature.  He told me there were bugs on the rocks, bird poop in the grass and nasty mold on the trees.  After he refused to touch a tree for a picture, I told him, "The moss on the tree is not gross, it's called NATURE!  Not only will I touch it, but I will LICK it right now as proof!"

So I did, as the kids looked on and gagged.  It's so easy to gross them out.

Although you have beautiful children and all their pics are so great, yours beats them by far. Now when something tastes good, you have rights to say "it's tree-licken' good!!!! ha ha ha!
