Snapshots of summer fun

Just a few highlights from the past couple weeks.

Besides lots of time at the pool, the boat breaking down after hitting CONCRETE while driving in the lake ($1500 later, it's a good thing our insurance deductible is "only" $300), and enduring the summer heat, we've been bowling (kids bowl free all summer!) and spent a lot of quality time with friends.

 Ryan and I went on two fun dates last week.  The first one was with the Varones, Napiers and Welsh's to a little Cajun place in Kansas City.  The food was great and the company was even better!  When we got home, this is what we found:

Brynlie and Brevan were in charge of babysitting this night, and it appears that Bryn just gave out after a while!  Ryan and I also went on a double-date with the Sessions on Saturday night and had a great time getting to know them better.  Dates are even more important when summer starts to wear me out with all the arguing, making messes, fun the kids have!
