This is Ryan's portayal of the last few chapters of First Nephi and most of Second Nephi. He did it in "Road Show" style, changing positions on the couch, depending on the person/people he was portraying.
Nephi: Yeah, it's going to be pretty cool. . . we end up losing the gospel, but then in the end, it all comes back to us and we are redeemed by Jesus.
Laman/Lemuel: Ok, we think we understand! Sounds great!
Nephi: It is great, in fact, let's read a couple chapters of Isaiah!!
(two chapters later)
Laman/Lemuel: . . . . what?
Nephi: (Rolls his eyes) Uhhh, why don't you guys get this?! It means that Jesus is the redeemer of Israel, and even though Israel will be cut off from the gospel for many, many years, the gospel will be restored to the gentiles who will teach it to the children of Israel. . . which means that our people will hear the truth some day and accept the teachings of Jesus Christ!
Laman/Lemuel: Oh, that makes sense. . . why didn't you just say that?
Nephi: Because Isaiah said it so beautifully!
Laman/Lemuel: Huh.
Nephi: In fact, let me read you 10 or so more chapters of Isaiah!
Laman/Lemuel: Somebody tie this guy up!
