Ryan could win a husband of the year award tonight. Spur of the moment, he decided to take ALL the children camping! They packed up quickly and took off, leaving me at home alone. I guess I should be lonely, but I'm savoring every minute. It was perfect timing, because I have been about to blow steam out of my head lately. I know that an evening alone will give me some renewed patience for my brood. They left before dinner, and it is now almost 11 p.m. I've spent most of the time alone a) cleaning or b) writing up an agenda for tomorrow's Primary meeting. I'm so boring. I've decided to quickly write this entry, then pop some popcorn and head to the basement for some serious Chick Flick watching. Ryan and I have been texting back and forth all night, and he says there are tons of bugs out, but the kids are all getting along fairly well and having a blast. Logan was so excited to cook "Crabby Patties" (a.k.a. hamburgers) on the campfire. I'm really going to miss snuggling with that little dude tonight. That's right . . .he's back in our bed. And it's not because he won't sleep in other beds, because he will. But my little guy is growing up so fast, and we just love to fall asleep with his tiny hands holding ours, and smelling his stinky boy breath.
I still can't believe we are moving! I'm getting more and more excited! We are heading over to the house tomorrow afternoon to meet an inspector and take some pictures. I will upload pics soon! We lowered the price on our current house again today. If we don't get any interest, we are having a family from our ward rent the house until it sells. They are a great family who will take good care of the home, but I really don't like having to deal with renters. I've heard too many horror stories I guess.
I am actually kind of, sort of, a little bit missing my kids. But I will get to kiss their s'mores-and-dirt-covered faces tomorrow morning!
P.S. Ryan just texted me and said Logan is scared because Lindsey told him "there are Holy Ghosts all around this forest." Now Logan keeps yelling that he is scared of Holy Ghosts!
Logan has three imaginary friends that he plays with every day for hours. They are named Heehee, Haha and Hoohoo. They fight with swords, wrestle and play every sport possible. Logan has the wildest imagination! He has conversations with these "friends" (who he sometimes calls his "brothers") and gives us the play-by-play of what is happening. Sometimes when we are driving in the car, he will start yelling at me because I am "sitting on Hoohoo!" He takes his imaginary friends with us everywhere we go, and lets them ride on top of our heads. He will suddenly start giggling, and say something like, "Haha is jumping on your head, Mom! Take him off!" I can't get enough of that boy. I adore every slobbery ounce of him.

How blessed you are to have an incredible husband and amazing kids. And how blessed are they that you're theirs!
