Our house is a very, very, very fine house

I took more pictures of the house the other day, so we could upload them to the MLS. I have always taken pictures of the inside of every apartment/house we've lived in, so I can remember how it looked. These pictures make me love my house, with all it's memories.

I've been wanting to buy a bench or a couple chairs for the front porch. But then my girls couldn't pretend it's a dance and singing stage.
I love, love, love my covered back deck. We are the highest house in the whole area, so we have an incredible view of Kearney. It's especially fun to sit on this porch during lightning storms or firework displays.

I love that my backyard is fully fenced.

The newest addition to my flower garden. How cute is this little statue I bought last weekend?

We have a large storage room; every Mormon's dream! And I have to say that I'm pretty proud of the food storage we have added to this room in the past year. And . . .ahem . . .that would be a new TV Ryan bought a couple weeks ago. He hasn't installed it yet, so I'm hoping he decides another TV is NOT a necessary item right now.

The newly remodeled full bathroom in the basement.
My darling children took the tank lid off the toilet one day, and then broke it to pieces. And guess what? You can't buy just the tank lid, so we actually had to purchase a whole new toilet.
I'm so glad we remodeled the basement last year. It has become my sanctuary away from the upstairs chaos of kids.

A view from the main floor family room, into the kitchen. The rocking chair is on it's last leg. Actually it was on it's last leg 4 years ago when I bought it for $10 at a garage sale. But it held together enough to let me rock my baby Logan to sleep many times, and have the ward Santa Clause welcome children onto his lap at many church Christmas parties.
The newly remodeled Master Bathroom. I love the vaulted ceilings. And because I'm a bit obsessed with paint colors, this one is called baguette. It makes me crave caramel.

My enormous Master Bedroom. I love this room!
This isn't a great view of this wall. The saying is "Grow old with me, the best is yet to be." That's one of my favorite quotes. I love that the bedroom has two walk-in closets, and a built-in entertainment center.
The color is weird in this picture, but it shows the laundry room that is upstairs, next to the Master Bedroom. I love that I never have to cart laundry up and down stairs.
Looking the opposite way down the hallway to the Master Bedroom. The closed door is the toy room.
Kid's bathroom. I love decorative mirrors, so I've changed out all the mirrors in the house. One of my greatest "cheap finds" is this light fixture that I bought at a garage sale for $1!

I love the large walk-in closets in all the kid bedrooms.

Looking into the main floor family room, from the front door.

The computer room. I am SO excited to have a coat closet in our next house, so I can store my vacuum behind closed doors! These are my scrapbooks from back in the day when I had extra time in my life.

I really like the mustardy color on the walls in my living room. I also installed this new light fixture a few years ago.

Where I spend the majority of my time at home . . .cooking, cleaning, helping with homework . . .

That's mi casa!
