Pajama Day

It's Pajama Day at our house. We accidentally slept in after a long night of listening to Logan cough, so I decided we would spend the remainder of the day watching movies and relaxing. My straight-A children deserve a day off every now and then. And while I'm at it, so do moms.

I'm almost completely done with all my Christmas shopping. Hurray! It's such a good feeling to be on top of things this time of year.

Ryan and I are taking a kid-free trip to Cabo for 6 days. We leave in exactly 2 weeks. I have an amazing friend who is going to watch all 4 of my kids the whole time. I'm so blessed!

If I hear one more grown, married woman talk about her obsession with shirt-less teenage vampires, I'm going to lose all my hope in humanity. It's very sad to see how many women I know who are living a double standard. I wonder how these same women would feel if their husbands slept on pillowcases with pictures of half-dressed women, or had a well-endowed girl as their main picture on their cell phone or Facebook page. I'll be spending this entire "New Moon" weekend far away from the theaters with drooling women.

That's my two cents for today.

Amen. I completely concur regarding New Moon.

And you motivated me to work on my Christmas shopping, so now I'm almost done, and it feels great!

And, I think a movie day sounds great. We hope Logan's cough gets better soon. But, what in the world did you say to the nosy school personnel when they called to see why your kids were home sick?

I agree with you on the Twilight crazed mothers. They are totally out of control. Yikes!
Did you do most of your christmas shopping online? I really need to get going on that!! Great job on being so organized!

I love that I'm not the only mom that every once in a while has a pj day.
Actually, I tend to have more pj days lately than real life get dressed and be productive days!

Ouch :) Just kidding, you know I have no were wolve, or vampire fantasies. It was a good movie though, even for us who weren't drooling.

Sorry Logan was sick hope he feels better, and hope you have fun in Cabo.

I am laughing so hard right now!! I LOVE IT! First off, I wish we were going to cabo with you, secondly, Vampires have got to go, and last but not least every day is pajama day at my house. Good on ya Ali! You need to do that more often. Bras are so over rated. Have fun in Cabo! BTW...The fam pic is fantastic!

This was a funny post but... Ash and I enjoyed the movie, but not for the shirtless boys. I read the books so I could see if she could read them and we go together to the movies. There are crazies everywhere, but no one I know is obsessed here.
