The swim season wrapped up this last weekend with the regional Conference. Christine took this photo at the last swim practice, where we engaged ourselves in a competitive round of UNO.
Although the Liberty Hills Gators took 3rd place at Conference, these kids swam their hardest. Notice Logan photo-bombing the girls.
Conference was held at an indoor pool with 8 lanes. It felt so professional, and we cheered on every member of the Gators team!
Logan's Freestyle time wasn't close to his best because he didn't hear the horn blow at the beginning! Once he hit the water, he swam better than he ever has before. The scoreboard shows that he got 6th place out of 8 swimmers.
Lindsey got 2nd place in her Freestyle heat with a time of 20.93 seconds! It was her best time ever! She also got a best time in her Breaststroke.
And she won the Butterfly heat with a time of 29.89!! We were so proud! She learned how to swim the fly about a month ago, and has improved quickly.
Logan was super excited to win his last race, the Freestyle Relay. He swam so hard, and then the next kid in line threw a fit and refused to get in the water. Unfortunately, their team was disqualified. Here they are showing off their new Conference t-shirts!
Friday was "Cow Appreciation Day" at Chick-Fil-A, so my kids dressed up as cows to get free food. They all ate until they were stuffed and I didn't have to pay a cent! Free fun is the best!

I am so proud of Lindsey and Logan!! It has been fun watching them swim this season. They swam so well at Conference. I liked your blonde hair-- now I am worried about my recent transformation. If you are too old- I am WAY too old!!
