Halloween 2012

Brynlie dressed up as an 80's girl this year, using the costume from her last dance recital.  I borrowed a crimper for her hair, and used about a half can of hairspray to make it as big as possible!  She posed for a picture with Jillian, who is hardly recognizable!

Lindsey used one of Bryn's dance costumes from a few years ago, and dressed up as a cheerleader.  She is posing with her best buddies, Jorja and Chloe.

Logan chose to be a gladiator this year, so we ordered his costume online.  He looks so adorable all decked out in his gear!  Brevan didn't want to dress up, since he can't wear the costume to school and I don't allow him to trick-or-treat anymore.

I took this picture while watching Logan's preschool Halloween parade.  When the kids all sang Halloween songs to the parents, Logan yelled "AWKWARD" as loudly as possible.  This boy is so stubborn that it's hard to get him to do much of anything if it isn't his idea.

I took this picture while at Bryn's school Halloween party.  I switched back and forth between Bryn's and Lindsey's class parties.

Last night we went to a neighborhood party, where we had dinner and chatted with friends before the teenagers created a "1st grade scary" haunted trail in the woods behind the neighbor's house.  Brevan and Brynlie were recruited to help.  After getting spooked on the trail, the parents hung out by the bonfire while the kids went trick-or-treating on a hayride.  My kids didn't last too long on the hayride, however, because they complained that the little kids were taking too long at each house.  It's all about the amount of candy you can collect!
