After a much-needed butt-kicking from Brenda, I will rephrase my last post:
I am the mom to four of the most helpful, happy, and healthy children in the world.
I am incredibly lucky to be married to such a hard-working husband.
I am the mother of a hilarious 3-year-old who can entertain himself and loves to explore the world around him. And he's pretty darn cute, too.
I am homeschooling, and it is really rough some days. But I am blessed to be in a financial situation where I can be at home with my son to provide this opportunity for him. I am aware that most moms are not so lucky.
I have a beautiful home where my children feel comfortable and love to be. I will take gigantic kid messes any day if it means my kids and their friends are having fun and feeling loved.
I have enough money to pay my bills, a reliable van so I can accomplish all the things required of me, and obedient children who are (cross your fingers, people) listening to some of the counsel that enters their ears.
I have the means to enroll my kids in many fun activities, where they can develop their talents and meet new people. I enjoy the one-on-one time I get with each of them while I drive them to their activities.
I try very hard to be a reliable friend and include others. I have the most fun, trustworthy friends a girl could ever hope for.
And I am tired.
