My Dad is compiling many of his children and grandchildren's "beliefs," so he can print them in a book. Here are some of our recent beliefs. The girls were already in bed when we worked on this tonight.
Ryan:
I believe the Denver Broncos will win the Superbowl this year.
I believe God loves me and is very patient with me.
I believe that I am extremely blessed.
I believe that Real Estate is always a good investment.
I believe that LDS people are too hard on other LDS people, and themselves.
I believe the Book of Mormon is the word of God.
I believe golf is one the hardest and most expensive sports to play.
I believe there is nothing more important than family and friends . . .except for God.
I believe you should always get a mulligan on the first tee box.
I believe Del Frescos is the best restaurant in the world.
I believe Lake Powell is the most beautiful place on Earth.
I believe Avenged Sevenfold is the best contemporary rock band.
I believe nobody really likes dark chocolate.
I believe the best test of character is what you do when no one else is around.
I believe all cake should be white.
I believe everyone should chew with their mouths closed.
I believe serving a mission was one of the best things I ever did.
I believe people should use proper grammar at all times.
I believe foreign-made cars are better than domestic-made cars.
I believe too many people in this world have too much time on their hands.
I believe the hardest thing to do is forgive someone.
I believe the Holy Ghost is the best gift God has given us.
I believe it takes no talent to be a country music singer.
I believe the best way to understand gospel principles is to apply them to the family unit.

I believe my Heavenly Father knows me well, and I know Him well. I believe I used to walk and talk with Him, and will again someday.

Brevan:
I believe the world will never have complete peace.
I believe all grass should be cut to the shortest length possible.
I believe waking up before 10 o'clock should be a crime.
I believe the only way to receive joy is to give joy to others.
I believe children need to learn to work hard.
Logan:
I believe everyone should wear their underwear backward.
I believe in Lightning McQueen.
I believe Utah is in the Missouri airport.
I believe every meal should consist of chocolate and yogurt.
I believe pants should always be pulled up above the belly button.
I believe Dad goes to work to get donuts.
I believe in break-dancing, fighting with imaginary friends and holding my crotch at all times.

I totally just giggled at Logan believing in holding his crotch at all times.
And I am completely in agreement that the occasional swear is totally allowed. I only hope several dozen a day is still considered occasional.
I would debate some of Ryan's, yours brought tears to my eyes and Brevan and Logan's made me laugh. I can't wait to see you guys!
