Cookie monsters

We have a tradition of inviting friends over to decorate Christmas cookies during December. Every year we invite at least one family that we don't know well. This year we invited the Simmons (obviously a family we DO know well) and Cory & Sarah Jewell. We first met the Jewell's when Cory was Brevan's soccer coach a couple years ago. Then Sarah got a job working for Ryan, and since Brenda works for Ryan also, it worked out well. The Jewell boys are Collin, who is Brevan's age, and Ethan, who is a little older than Logan. I decided to make dinner for everyone also, so we had homemade chili and cornbread. Yummy. It was a pretty busy couple days, because I watched Brenda's 3 kids all day on Monday and Tuesday (which made 7 kids when you include mine), did this fun cookie activity until very late Monday night, and had a presidency meeting at my house during the day on Tuesday (which meant 9 more kids came with their moms). The house was a wreck by Wednesday! But I LOVE LOVE LOVE having kids over to play. I have always strived to have a house where other's feel comfortable and want to be.
Cutie Jilli.
Handsome Logan Simmons, a.k.a. "Big Logan" at our house.
Loganberry loved eating the frosting before it made it on any cookies!
Lindsey won the contest for the nastiest concoction of sprinkles!
Don't look so excited, Bryn.
